The perfect balance beam for young and beginner gymnasts Medium density foam core is firm enough to keep you from sinking into the beam but soft enough to be forgiving during the first years of training. Compact design folds in half for easy storage is very lightweight and is covered in heavy-duty 18oz vinyl which has been tested to meet CSPIA standards for lead and pthalates. Latex-free. Overall dimensions are 108″ long x 2.5″ high x 7″ wide at base and the 3.5″ top surface width provides the gymnast with a comfortable working area. The beam widens to a 7″ base for added stability. While the medium density rating makes this balance beam most appropriate for younger gymnasts the durable crosslink polyethylene foam core is suitable for use at home or in the gym.
