Training with the CHAMPRO Hot Spot Bamboo Training Bat can improve hitters’ power, speed, and contact rate by teaching them to find consistent hits on the bat’s “sweet spot.” The long, thin midsection forces batters to focus on hitting with the 2 ⅝ ” diameter sweet spot at the end, sending incoming pitches to the outfield instead of right up the middle. The handle is covered with a tacky batter’s grip to give it a regulation bat feel. Measures 32 inches in length, weighs just over 11 pounds. Not to be used with baseballs–stick with lightweight poly balls or tee balls to ensure you can keep improving your technique for years. Comes with training drills to help you get started right away.
