The protectors have no metal or plastic buckles and are therefore particularly safe and usable in most Armateur competitions. The shape is rather narrow and the sides are pulled wide around the lower leg, which means more comfort and a snug fit. The outer shell consists of the well-known, highly durable synthetic Fairtex material. Inside, the protector is padded with a multi-layer foam core, so that it is hard on the outside and soft on the inside. Inside, a non-slip stretch cotton shell provides the support and comfort that top athletes expect. The instep guard is held in place with an elastic band on the underside. Overall, all seams are designed so that there are no hard edges that could injure you.
